Mendocino recently opened its newest location at 825 Queen Street west (Queen and Niagara) near Trinity Bellwoods Park in Toronto’s trendy West Queen West neighbourhood.
This move marks a return to the Toronto-based retailer’s roots – the first Mendocino store opened in the late eighties at Queen and John. To celebrate, Mendocino has partnered with Toronto-based Crown Flora Studio to create an enchanting green living forest window install and an exclusive candle collaboration.
Mendocino’s West Queen West location carries hard-to-find jewelry labels like K/LLER Collection – an up-and-coming, eco-friendly line based in Brooklyn – and Haati Chai, a boho inspired line from LA.
Also seen at Mendocino’s opening party and preview: Coachella favourites, The Jetset Diaries and For Love and Lemons. They also carry a great selection of sunnies including Spekter, Wonderland and Quay sunglasses – if that latter sounds familiar, it’s because you’ve seen them on dozens of celebs faces including Gigi Hadid, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce, Matthew McConaughey, Cara Delevingne and others.
The new shop aims to support local businesses as well. In addition to their Crown Flora collaboration Mendocino’s new location also carries Toronto-based LOVEFRESH bath and body products.
